At Cloud Meadow Path, we strive to provide the highest quality makeup services and ensure complete client satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines our procedures regarding payments, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for our various services. By booking services with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
1. General Policy
We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Our refund and cancellation policies are designed to be fair to both our clients and our professional artists who reserve their time specifically for your appointment.
2. Deposits and Payments
2.1 Deposits
For certain services, we require a deposit to secure your booking. The deposit amount varies by service type:

2.2 Final Payment
The remaining balance is due at the following times:
- Bridal Makeup: Remaining balance due 14 days before the wedding date
- Special Event Makeup: Remaining balance due on the day of service
- Makeup Classes: Remaining balance due 48 hours before the class
- Group Bookings: Remaining balance due 7 days before the appointment
2.3 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Bank Transfers
- PayPal
- Cash (in-studio services only, not accepted for deposits)
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
3.1 Standard Services
For individual makeup appointments (excluding bridal services):
- Cancellation with more than 48 hours' notice: Full refund of any payments made
- Cancellation with 24-48 hours' notice: 50% refund or option to reschedule within 30 days
- Cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice or no-show: No refund
3.2 Bridal Services
For bridal makeup services:
- Cancellation with more than 60 days' notice: Full refund except for a £50 administrative fee
- Cancellation with 30-60 days' notice: 50% refund of deposit
- Cancellation with less than 30 days' notice: Deposit is non-refundable
- Rescheduling with more than 30 days' notice: One-time reschedule without penalty, subject to availability
- Rescheduling with less than 30 days' notice: Subject to availability and a £50 rescheduling fee
3.3 Bridal Trials
For bridal makeup trials:
- Cancellation with more than 48 hours' notice: Full refund or option to reschedule
- Cancellation with less than 48 hours' notice: No refund, but option to reschedule within 30 days with a £25 rescheduling fee
3.4 Makeup Classes
For individual and group makeup classes:
- Cancellation with more than 7 days' notice: Full refund or option to reschedule
- Cancellation with 3-7 days' notice: 50% refund or option to reschedule within 60 days
- Cancellation with less than 3 days' notice: No refund
3.5 Group Bookings
For group bookings (4 or more people):
- Cancellation with more than 14 days' notice: Full refund except for a £50 administrative fee
- Cancellation with 7-14 days' notice: 50% refund of deposit
- Cancellation with less than 7 days' notice: Deposit is non-refundable
4. Service Dissatisfaction
4.1 During Service
If at any point during your service you are not satisfied with the work being performed, please immediately communicate your concerns to your artist. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and will make reasonable adjustments to address your concerns.
4.2 After Service
If you are dissatisfied with your service after completion:
- Please notify us within 24 hours of your service by email or phone with specific details about your concerns
- Provide photos if applicable
- We will respond within 48 hours to address your concerns
4.3 Remedies for Dissatisfaction
Depending on the nature of the dissatisfaction, we may offer one of the following remedies:
- Touch-up appointment at no additional cost
- Partial refund of service cost
- Full refund in exceptional circumstances
- Credit toward future services
Each situation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
5. Gift Certificates and Prepaid Services
5.1 Gift Certificates
Gift certificates:
- Are non-refundable once purchased
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- May be transferred to another person
5.2 Prepaid Service Packages
Prepaid service packages:
- Are non-refundable once services have begun
- May be refunded at 80% of the remaining value if no services have been used
- Must be used within 12 months of purchase
6. Special Circumstances
6.1 Artist Illness or Emergency
In the event that your assigned artist is unable to perform services due to illness or emergency:
- We will attempt to assign another qualified artist from our team
- If no replacement is available, we will reschedule your appointment at your earliest convenience
- If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued
6.2 Extreme Weather or Force Majeure
In cases of extreme weather conditions or other events beyond our control that make it impossible to perform services:
- We will reschedule your appointment without penalty
- If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued
6.3 Client Illness
If you are ill on the day of your appointment:
- Please notify us as soon as possible
- For contagious illnesses, we will reschedule your appointment without penalty
- Medical documentation may be requested for cancellations due to illness
7. Processing of Refunds
When a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method when possible
- Credit card refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement
- Bank transfer refunds may take 3-5 business days to process
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review this Refund Policy periodically for changes. Your continued use of our services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
